Late Nights

The girls have been really enjoying their summer. With summer of course comes more late nights. I used to be a stickler about getting the kids to bed right on time but it seems that during summer the rules loosen and we just enjoy our days and nights without much of a schedule. We have been spending a lot of time at the pool and hanging around the house. The two older girls started swim lessons this past week and have been doing great. It has actually been great for Ainsley. She has now FINALLY started going under water!! I am ecstatic that she has finally hit this milestone and is now really loving the pool. And Ellie seems to be doing well in the water too. I think I will get her in swim lessons this fall or winter, once she gets into some kind of routine with preschool. The two older ones start soccer next week at the YMCA. This will be the first year that either of them have done soccer. In the past all they have done is dance. But they decided at the end of the school year after their recital that they didn't want to do dance anymore. So we enrolled them in soccer for the fall and then I think I will enroll all of them in gymnastics. All of them seem to love to tumble. I may enroll Ellie now as she loves to do anything that involves somersaults and moving. I have finally uploaded the photos from our trip to Maine and will post some either today or tomorrow. We have a big weekend planned with Jeff preaching at our church on Sunday and then a wedding of one of our girls from the youth group we worked with in college. Nothing like one of your youth group kids getting married to make you feel old..even when you really aren't:)
